Strength work creates a strong runner who is more resilient, has more endurance and speed and is less prone to injury.
Strength training is extremely beneficial from a performance standpoint as it improves running economy and builds resistance to injury, and runners who do not actively incorporate it into their training program are at a significant disadvantage to those who do. This program is for any runner who wants to improve their running economy, reduce the risk of injury and become a better all-round athlete.
